Actively Managed ETFs explained is necessary to understanding this new type of ETF investing. This type has only been in existents for less than two years. This style of investing is a far cry from the passive style in which the ETF’s were originally set up for. It took 15 years for this new type of investing to start and on March 25, 2010 they turn 2 years old.
The actively traded ETF is traded daily. This allows for short term movement of the fund and the index to be reflected in its price and value. Just like the passive investment they still attempt to mirror the index they follow.
